Visit Cusco and Machu Picchu by Train 3 Days / 2 NightsWith this all-inclusive tourist package you will get to know the best of the best of Cusco without much physical effort, recommended for those travelers who want an unforgettable experience.

In these 4 Days and 3 Nights we take care of all the logistics of each of the tours that you are going to do, for example on the first day we will do the City Tour, which is a half-day tour, as a way of acclimatization in Cusco. The next day we go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas with connection to Machu Picchu, which means that we will spend the night in Aguas Calientes and on the third day visit the world wonder Machu Picchu and in the afternoon we will return to Cusco.

In addition to the tours and all income included, we also include accommodation in Cusco (You can opt for a higher category hotel if you wish).

PROGRAM SUMMARY
DAY 01: ARRIVAL AIRPORT / CUSCO / CITY TOUR / CUSCO
On your first day we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will do the City Tour where we will visit Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.

DAY 02: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / AGUAS CALIENTES
This day we will visit Pisac and its traditional market then after lunch we will go to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 03: AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
We will get up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas Machu Picchu and in the afternoon return to Cusco.

DAY 04: CUSCO / TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
We will have the day off to then transfer them to the airport finishing our services.

Itinerary

DAY 1.- ARRIVAL TO CUSCO / CITY TOUR / CUSCO

Our adventure begins with pickup from the airport or bus station in Cusco, then transfer to the hotel in Cusco and have the day free to acclimatize to the city’s altitude (3,400 m / 11,154 Feet).
(We recommend that your flight to Cusco be in the morning or a day before).

CITY TOUR IN CUSCO

In the afternoon we will take the city tour in Cusco as acclimatization, we will pick you up at your hotel at 12:50 p.m. and then head to the Plaza Mayor of Cusco, where we will begin the tour. The first place to visit will be the Qoricancha, known as “The Solar Temple”, the most important in Tawantinsuyo, then we will go in our mobility to the upper part of the city to visit Sacsayhuaman, the great Inca fortress where we will be surprised by the gigantic cyclopean-shaped walls. . of boluartes, then we will take the opportunity to visit the beautiful eucalyptus forest in Qenqo and we will also take the opportunity to visit the Cristo Blanco viewpoint, a place where we will have spectacular views of the city of Cusco, then we will go to Pukapukara. and the last point of visit will be Tambomachay known as the “Temple dedicated to Water”.

Finally we will return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m, where we will leave you near the Plaza Mayor of Cusco, where you can take advantage of dinner and then go to rest for the next day’s tour.

DAY 2.- SACRED VALLEY / TARAY VIEW POINT / PISAC / OLLANTAYTAMBO / AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN

Our tour will begin with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco between 7:10 to 7:30 a.m., where our private tourist transport will pick you up, and then we will go to our first point of visit, which will be Pisac, but before that we will make a short stop. at the Taray viewpoint, where we can appreciate the magnificent landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas.

Once in Pisac, we can visit its archaeological center: full of history wherever you can see it, its terraces are finely and harmoniously built on the great mountains, its temples perfectly aligned to the stars in the firmament. And of course its craft market.

It will surprise you!

Then we will cross the valley until we reach the town of Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch in a renowned tourist restaurant, trying different types of dishes and unique flavors that only an excellent restaurant can offer us.

After having enjoyed lunch, we will continue visiting the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a place that stands out for its innumerable mysteries in its constructions.

The last point of visit will be Chinchero, known as the “Rainbow City”, where its impressive Inka archaeological remains and its colonial Church of “Nuestra Señora de Monzerrat” stand out, and then we will take advantage of the time to visit a traditional house where we will learn about of the manufacturing process of Andean textiles.

At the end of our visit in Chinchero, we will return to Cusco, where our transport will leave you at your respective hotel.

DAY 3.- AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHUPICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES - CUSCO

The big day has arrived!

We will visit the Llaqta de Machu Picchu and we will start getting up early, have breakfast and then go with our guide to the bus station which will take us to the entrance of Machu Picchu on a 30-minute trip up the mountain, upon arrival
We will triumphantly enter the citadel of Machu Picchu and have a guided tour with a Private Guide that will make you live a better experience for 2 hours, visiting the most important sectors such as the Guardian House, The Temple of the 3 Windows, The Sacred Plaza, Intiwatana and more…

Every corner in Machu Picchu is special and magical so enjoy the moment to the fullest!

Optional Activity: After the tour in Machu Picchu it is possible to hike to the top of the Huayna Picchu mountain, a rigorous and steep climb with impressive Inka constructions, it also has spectacular views, the round trip is approximately 2 hours, This optional activity has an extra charge.

After the visit in Machu Picchu we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and in the afternoon return by train to Ollantaytambo and finally to the city of Cusco, leaving you at the door of your accommodation.

DIA 4: CUSCO / TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

This last day in Cusco, you can take advantage of the morning to rest or choose to take a walk through the city where we will visit the main squares, streets, markets in Cusco. To finally This last day after a delicious breakfast you will have the rest of the morning free to relax or go for a walk. If you opt for the walking tour, you will be able to visit the following places:

  • San Pedro local market

This tour ends with the transfer to the airport either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the details of your flight to Lima or another place.
