TRAVEL DESCRIPTION
On the first day you will have the option of taking the City Tour to acclimatize to the city or have the afternoon free to explore Cusco at your own pace.
The second day we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will explore the archaeological zone of Pisac and its artisan market, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Tunupa restaurant and we will visit the archaeological zone of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon we will take a train to Aguas Calientes.
On the third day we will visit the sanctuary of Machu Picchu with a private guide, who will immerse you in the history of the Incas.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
DAY 01: AIRPORT / CUSCO / QORICANCHA / SACSAYHUAMAN / QENQO / PUKAPUKARA / TAMBOMACHAY / CUSCO
On your first day we will pick you up from the airport and in the afternoon we will do the City Tour where we will visit Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
DAY 02: CUSCO / PISAC / OLLANTAYTAMBO / AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
This second day you will enjoy visiting the best tourist sites in the Sacred Valley.
DAY 03: AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES / CUSCO
We will get up early to visit the hidden jewel of the Incas Machu Picchu and in the afternoon return to Cusco.
DAY 04: CUSCO / MARAS AND MORAY / TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Day 1: Arriva In Airport / City Tour (Opcional)
- We start this day with energy to start our City tour, for this our staff will pick you up at your hotel with a warm greeting.
Once ready, we will head to the Qoricancha temple where we will delve into part of the history of the region that will prepare us to visit more incredible places. - Then we will head towards Saqsayhuaman, one of the archaeological sites known for its megalithic constructions where we will receive a short explanation from our guide and you will have time to take those inevitable photographs.
- After visiting this place, we will head towards Puka pukara known for its reddish coloration in its buildings, here you will know much more thanks to our tour guide.
- Our last point to visit will be to visit Tambomachay where our guide will give you the latest explanations of the place and with this we would conclude this day of travel.

Day 2: Cusco / Tour Sacred Valley With Conexion To Machu Picchu
- Your adventure with our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour begins with a warm greeting and pickup from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. approximately. Together we will head towards the Sacred Valley, where we will make our first stop in Chinchero, one of the most popular towns in the region, famous for its rich textile history. There we will learn about their ancestral techniques and colorful customs up close.
- After this enriching visit, we will continue our trip to Pisac. Along the way, we will stop at the Mirador de Taray to capture stunning photographs of the valley that spreads out below us. Upon arriving in Pisac, we will be amazed by the grandeur of its agricultural terraces, which are still preserved on the slopes of the mountains, a legacy of Inca engineering.
- To recharge our batteries and continue our tour, we will head to Urubamba, where we will have the opportunity to delight in a delicious lunch of typical dishes from the region. We will savor the fresh ingredients and the unique seasoning of Peruvian cuisine.
- With a full stomach and renewed spirit, we will head to Ollantaytambo, an imposing Inca fortress known for its monumental terraces, temples, and ceremonial water fountains. We will walk through its passageways and admire the majesty of this citadel, feeling the connection with the past and the greatness of the Inca Empire.
- From Ollantaytambo, we will take a train that will take us on a picturesque trip of approximately 2 hours to the town of Machu Picchu, also known as Aguas Calientes. During the journey, we will enjoy the beauty of the Andean landscape and we will say goodbye to the Sacred Valley with a heart full of pleasant memories.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our attentive staff will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest. You can use the remaining time to visit the surroundings of the town or simply relax and prepare for the exciting experience that awaits you the next day: a visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

Day 3: Visit Machu Picchu And Retorn To Cusco
- On this day of our Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour, the sunrise will be our reward in a majestic place. After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and give you some instructions before accompanying you to the CONSETTUR bus station. A short 30-minute bus ride will take us to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
- Inside the Inca citadel, we will embark on a guided tour of approximately two hours. During this tour, you will feel the unique energy that this mystical place emanates and you will marvel at the architectural work of the ancient cultures that left us an invaluable legacy. Don’t forget to take as many photos as you want, including selfies, to show off to your friends and family!
- After exploring Machu Picchu, we will return to the Town of Machu Picchu on the CONSETTUR buses. There, you will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch (own expense). You will receive the final instructions from our guide about your return by train from the town of Machu Picchu and finally the wait of our staff who will be near the Ollantaytambo train station to take you in our mobility to the city of Cusco, where our tour will end. Day 4: Cusco / Maras / Moray / Transfer To The Airport
- Start the day with a delicious breakfast included at the hotel in Cusco, then we will head to the Salineras de Maras, where you can admire the impressive salt terraces in full production. Next, head to Moray to explore the ancient and mysterious circular platforms believed to have been an Inca agricultural laboratory.
- The tour ends in Chinchero, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Textile Art Center, observe traditional weaving techniques and acquire beautiful handcrafted textiles.
- Finally we will be returning to Cusco around 2:00 p.m. and at the time you tell us we will take you to the airport and end of our services

Travel Guide
The rules to be respected within Machu Picchu are:
- The entrance to the Inca city is from 06:00 to 16:00 hrs.
- The entry and consumption of alcoholic beverages is totally prohibited.
- Hydrating drinks must be transported in bottles (but not disposable).
- The consumption of food inside the archaeological park is not authorized.
- The entry of pets is prohibited.
- The dumping of garbage inside the enclosure is prohibited. Outside the archaeological site there are garbage containers.
- Smoking is prohibited, much less lighting campfires.
- Regarding luggage, only small bags and backpacks are accepted. However, if you have a lot of luggage you can leave it before entering the Archaeological Site in the warehouses, the use of the same implies an extra cost of 3 to 5 soles.
- It is not allowed to climb the Inca walls, much less paint or scratch them.
- It is necessary to be responsible for your own, if you are accompanied by children, take care of them so that they do not get into mischief that could cause irreversible damage.
- Inside the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu you will not find hygienic services. It is recommended to visit them before entering.
- The use of canes is allowed only for the elderly or people with disabilities, the canes must have a rubber tip.
- Respect the signage, the Sanctuary has some prohibited accesses that you must respect and only travel through the authorized areas, which are duly established and marked.
Recommendations
- The first thing you need to do is buy your Ticket to Machu Picchu and your train tickets in advance. Especially if the visit is made in high season (May – September).
- Do not forget to carry your identity document in your luggage, either; passport, university student card or DNI.
- To board the train you must be at the station 30 minutes before departure time, and present your ticket and identification document. Otherwise, you will not be able to board the train.
- It is important to have cash in soles (Peruvian currency) and dollars, in small denominations, because most places in Aguas Calientes do not accept cards. However, you will find quite a few ATMs in the city of Cusco, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes.
- The visiting hours to Machu Picchu most frequented by tourists is between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Therefore, it is recommended to go up to the Inca City in the early morning or in the afternoon so that you can enjoy your tour with peace of mind.
- If you are North American or belong to the European Community, you will not need a visa for stays of less than 90 days. If you come from countries that make up the Andean Community (CAN), you can enter just by presenting your identity document.
