DAY 1: Arrival in Cusco and City Tour in the afternoon

Our adventure begins with pickup from the airport in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

We will meet to provide you with detailed information about the chosen tourist package.

In the afternoon:

The City Tour in Cusco begins at 1:00 p.m. with a visit to Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun. This archaeological site presents an amazing fusion of Inca architecture and colonial construction. Visitors can admire the original Inca walls, meticulously assembled without the use of mortar, and appreciate the layers of history revealed as they move through the temple halls.

From Qoricancha, we head to the majestic fortress of Sacsayhuamán, located in the hills overlooking Cusco. Here, we explore the imposing stone structures, some of which weigh up to 150 tons, while our guide immerses us in the military and ceremonial history of this iconic site.

Continuing the tour, we headed to Q’enqo, an archaeological complex that served as a ceremonial center. Visitors can explore the intricate cavities carved into the rock and discover the ancient rituals that took place here. Next, we head to Pukapukara, a military fortress that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and finally we´ll visit Tambomachay know as “The Temple of the Sun” and after that retorn to Cusco around 6:00 p.m..

DAY 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas with connection to Machu Picchu

The day begins with a visit to the impressive Mirador de Taray, a strategic point that offers panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. From this viewpoint, visitors can appreciate the magnificence of the Andes and the serenity of the valley that extends below them. Next, we head to Pisac, famous for its archaeological complex and vibrant artisan market. After exploring and doing some shopping, we headed to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch highlighting rich Peruvian cuisine.

The next stop is Ollantaytambo, an Inca city with an extraordinary urban design that still preserves its original layout. Here, we explore the ancient agricultural terraces and fortress that witnessed a key battle during the Spanish conquest. Ending the day, we head to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. This itinerary not only reveals the historical and cultural richness of the Sacred Valley but also seamlessly connects with the exciting next stage of the journey to the wonder of Machu Picchu.

DAY 3: Archaeological Wonder - Machu Picchu

The adventure begins early in Aguas Calientes, where we take a scenic bus that winds through the steep hills to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
